Terms and Conditions – Leo Mabati Factory
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders and transactions with Leo Mabati Factory,
INTERPRETATION
In these Terms:
Buyer or Customer refers to the individual, company or representative purchasing goods from Leo Mabati Factory.
Seller means Leo Mabati Factory.
Goods means all roofing sheets and other building products supplied by Leo Mabati Factory.
Contract refers to any agreement for the sale and delivery of Goods.
Writing includes official letters, emails, WhatsApp or other traceable electronic messages.
PRICING & PAYMENT
All prices are quoted in Kenya Shillings and are subject to change without prior notice.
All prices are based on the current rates at the time of quotation.
Quotations are valid for 7 days from the issue date.
All prices are inclusive of VAT.
Payment methods accepted include M-PESA Paybill and Bank Transfers.
Payment terms are strictly Cash Before Delivery (CBD) unless an official agreement states otherwise. Cash on delivery is not accepted.
The seller may adjust product prices to reflect changes in the cost of raw materials, logistics, or other related factors.
Installment payments are allowed only under an approved written agreement, with balance paid before delivery.
Installment Plan (Lipa Pole Pole)
Customers may choose to use our Lipa Pole Pole installment plan, starting from as low as KES 5,000.
The plan allows a 5-month payment period.
The seller reserves the right to revise the quoted price with a 7-day notice.
If the customer opts for a refund instead of completing payment, a charge of up to 10% of the total order value may apply. Terms and conditions apply.
ORDERING & SPECIFICATIONS
Orders must be confirmed by the customer in writing and approved by Leo Mabati Factory.
The customer is responsible for confirming product type, profile, color, and gauge before production begins.
No changes or cancellations are allowed once production has started.
Custom and non-standard orders are non-refundable unless there is a fault on seller’s part.
Colors may vary slightly from samples due to screen or printing differences.
Delivery Terms
Free delivery is offered for orders above KES 100,000 within Kenya, subject to accessibility and vehicle limits.
For orders below that threshold, delivery is chargeable at a rate communicated during the order process.
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to weather, logistics, or unforeseen delays.
The customer must inspect and sign off on goods at the point of delivery.
Any delivery via third-party transporters is done at the customer’s risk.
Returns and claims
Returns are accepted only in case of manufacturing defects reported within 48 hours of delivery.
No returns or exchanges for incorrect gauge, profile, or color once production is approved.
Refunds (if any) are processed within 14 working days after inspection and approval.
Warranties and Liabilities
Leo Mabati Factory provides a warranty against material defects, subject to proper handling and installation.
Warranty is void if:
1. The roof is not installed as per provided guidelines.
2. There is damage due to misuse, harsh chemicals, or poor storage.
3. Natural wear and tear or exposure leads to fading or corrosion.
